A relationship between a 10-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man, which was unacceptable to their families, forced them to commit suicide. The duo, who live in Delhi’s Narela jumped before a train. They, however, survived the incident but the man had lost both his legs whereas the girl’s limbs were broken.
The girl, who is a class 4 student fell in love with her neighbour. Both of them hail from Bihar. The minor used to play with him, who lives in the same building, before their unusual love affair happened. Later, the duo developed feelings for each other.

When their family members came to know about their love affair and their intentions to get married, they vehemently opposed them. They were not even allowed to speak to each other. In order to separate them, the families even tried to turn their relationship into brother-sister one on the occasion of ‘Rakha Bandhan’. They asked the girl to tie ‘Rakhi’ on the man’s wrist.
They disagreed to do so and fled from the spot. Later, they jumped before a train. However, the police said that they are not ruling a possibility that this could be an accident too.
