Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested an associate of Chhota Shakeel’s aide who was nabbed a few days ago for allegedly planning to kill Pakistan-born Canadian writer Tarek Fatah.
PS Kushwah, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), said Shahbaz Ansari was arrested around 8 pm on Thursday from Pushta Road, Rani Garden, near the Geeta Colony bus stand in east Delhi.
The police also seized a .315 calibre pistol and two live cartridges from him.Ansari was in the past arrested in two cases, including on the charge of murder, in New Delhi, said the officer.

Junaid Chaudhary (21), the alleged aide of Chhota Shakeel, was nabbed on the intervening night of June 7 and 8 from Wazirabad road in northeast Delhi.
He was planning to target Fatah, known for his controversial remarks.
Chaudhary had also roped in a few men to carry out the plan to kill the writer and Ansari was one of them.
