Five-year-old girl who was raped by a housekeeping staff in a school toilet in South Delhi will have to undergo surgery, said doctors of AIIMS to victim’s parents.
The victim’s father reportedly told the media that their daughter will have to undergo surgery to treat her internal wounds.
The Delhi Police has arrested the housekeeping staff of Saint Nirankari School in Malviya Nagar. The arrested has been identified as 22-year-old Rakesh.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmoy Biswal said, “We accused was arrested as soon as the victim identified her perpetrator.”

Meanwhile, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident.
The incident came to surface after the minor narrated her ordeal to her mother on Wednesday after returning home from school.

Police said that the victim told her mother that after using the washroom, she called the woman staff for help but the accused entered the toilet and assaulted the minor.
The Delhi Police during their course of interrogation have learnt that the accused was hired by the school administration three months back.
