Students stage protest against CBSE Paper Leak in front of CBSE office in Delhi

Continuing with the protest, a group of students on Saturday staged a demonstration near the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) office at Preet Vihar here against the leak of  Class-X Mathematics and Class-XII Economics papers.

"Students tried to block the road in front of the CBSE office, but we kept them away. A group of about 25-30 students are protesting outside the CBSE office," said a senior Delhi Police officer.

CBSE Education Secretary Anil Swarup on Friday evening announced re-examination of the Class-12 Economics paper on April 25. The re-examination for the Class-X Mathematics paper was likely to be conducted in July, he said.

Swarup said a preliminary probe had revealed that the Class-X Mathematics paper leak was restricted to Delhi and Haryana region alone.

Two cases have been registered in the case since the paper was leaked on March 26. Following it, the Delhi Police Crime Branch has set up a special investigation team (SIT) and questioned nearly 60 people in the matter.
