Delhi: Woman shot dead in Shalimar Bagh

A woman was shot dead in her car in Shalimar Bagh of the national capital. An FIR has been registered and a probe is on, the police said.

The deceased has been identified as Priya Mehra. Primafacie, the police officials are suspecting it as a case of loot.  

According to officials, Priya was present along with her husband and son in the car when the incident took place.

In a similar incident on Tuesday, two men were shot dead allegedly by unidentified bike-borne men in northeast Delhi's New Usmanpur and Krishna Nagar area of Shahdara.
