A 21-year-old Delhi man killed a six-year-old boy as he suspected ‘ogling’ at his wife while she was bathing, said Police.
Police said, the six-year-old boy’s body was found in a bed box in southeast Delhi’s Okhla Phase 2 on Friday morning. The minor had gone missing while playing outside his house on Wednesday.
A senior police officer part of the investigating team probing the missing boy’s case said, “On Friday morning neighbours complained of strong foul smell from a locked room. When they opened the room to their shock they found the minor’s body packed in a sack.”
He added, the minor’s mouth was tied with black cloth.
DCP (southeast) Romil Baaniya told the media that the accused has been arrested. The accused was identified as Rohit.
He added, during questioning the accused told the police that the minor was peeping at his newly wedded wife while she was bathing.
“Rohit further told us that in fit of anger he pushed the boy. The minor’s head hit the edge of the bed and profusely bleeding. The accused confessed that he wrapped a cloth around his face and hid his body in the bed-box,” added Baaniya.
