Govt's demonetisation decision shows its insensitivity towards people: Arvind Kejriwal

Just a day after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley cleared the air saying that there will be no rollback of demonetisation, Delhi CM Kejriwal took a jibe at the government.

Kejriwal said that the decision taken by the government reeks of insensitivity towards people.

Delhi CM and his rollback demand companion Mamata Banerjee demanded on Thursday that demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes be rolled back within the next three days.

Rejecting the demands by TMC and AAP, Jaitley had said, “there is no question of that. It is a clear decision of the Prime Minister and the government to cleanse politics and economy of the country. We will stick to it (demonetisation).”
