Dense fog blankets North India region; 48 trains delayed,12 rescheduled

The dense fog has hugely affected trains and flights operations. North India including Delhi-NCR is witnessing thick fog cover. Several trains have also been rescheduled from Delhi area stations including New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station and Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station. 

Poor visibility also affected rail traffic leading to the cancellation of seven trains early morning.
