Deepanshu Jindal, who is the topper of IIT JEE, is flying high at the moment. The Delhi boy has bagged top rank in JEE (Main) and is all ecstatic about it. He has scored an all-India rank of 53 in the JEE (Advanced) and has headed to IIT Delhi.
“I intend to pursue Computer Science from IIT Delhi and then go for further higher studies,” Deepanshu told newsnation.in. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the ranks for JEE Mains on Thursday night.
The key to success is determination and time management, says the 18 year old topper. “I have always been a lazy and a cool person and never did I study for 12 to 13 hours a day. However I did manage my time well and was very flexible with my schedule.”
Deepanshu intends to become a successful entrepreneur in the future. His father is a dedicated revenue service officer and mother’s a housewife, both of whom support him in his career choice. He says,” My parents were on cloud9 when they heard my results. They are really proud.”
Besides, the Delhi boy had secured 98.6% in his CBSE class XII exams. Apart from studies, he is also interested in soccer and computer games.
The JEE topper is a student of SD Public School, Pitampura and has scored full marks in physics and mathematics. He was the school topper. He says,” My parents have always been very supportive. There was no pressure from them. They knew I would study and score well in the exams. They had complete faith in me.”
On asking about his plans to party, he says, “I did not have time to party (laughs) as I have the interviews lined up however I will party on Sunday with my kith and kins.”
