Digvijaya Singh reminds Vaghela of being 'Rajput', asks him to ensure Ahmed Patel's victory

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Tuesday reminded Shankersinh Vaghela of being 'Khastriya', saying that the latter should not forget it that what Congress party has done for him in past.

Singh wrote on Twitter: "Don't forget what Congress has done for you. You are a Rajput. Please ensure Ahmed Bhai's victory. He has been our friend and supporter."(sic)

The Congress leader further wrote that whatever his issues with Congress, would be resolved and requested Vaghela to not to ditch the Congress.

Earlier in the day, Vaghela voted for BJP, saying that h ere was no point to waste the vote by giving it Congress as the grand old party is not going to win the elections.
