MK Stalin introduces no-confidence motion in Tamil Nadu assembly

DMK working president MK Stalin on Wednesday introduced ‘no-confidence motion’ in the Tamil Nadu Assembly.

Stalin raised Koovathur issue in the assembly after which Tamil Nadu governor wrote a letter to the speaker seeking explanations.

However, the speaker refused to reply on issues raised by Stalin and DMK along with Congress walked out of the TN assembly.

Earlier on Tuesday, a sting operation carried out by a News Channel had shown AIADMK legislators were paid bribes by party general secretary V K Sasikala, in return for supporting Palaniswami during the trust vote held on February 18.
