In Karnataka's Chikkaballapur district's Chintamani village, Police has received a complaint about a government doctor who allegedly forced a Muslim woman to chant "Krishna Krishna" before doing her operation during mass sterilisation programme.
Naseema Bano alleges that when she went for the operation, doctor present in the hospital forced her to chant Krishna Krishna before doing the operation.
Naseema Bano says, "I am from Banglore, I came to Chintamani for operation since my relatives are here. I reached the hospital at 9 AM and underwent all the tests and operation was scheduled at 1 PM when I went there the doctor who was doing operation was asking everyone to Chant Krishna Krishna."
"I was the only Muslim lady, he asked me to Chant Krishna Krishna and said if I didn't say this he will not do the operation, I got scared and I said Krishna Krishna and then he did the operation," she added further.
On 12th December, Government hospital Chintamani had organised a monthly programme of female sterilisation and Naseema Bano had enrolled her name in this.

Naseema is resident of Nandni Layout of Bengaluru but had gone to Chintamani to her grandmother's house for this operation. She has two daughters and wanted to go for sterilisation.
Naseema Bano latter filed a police complaint in Chintamani police station.After registering her complaint, Chintamani police has started the investigation.
