United States President Donald Trump arrived in India today on his first official two-day state visit to the country. Trump, the the seventh American President to visit India, arrived in Ahmedabad around noon on Monday. After his arrival, President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a mammoth crowd of more than 1,00,000 people at an event titled 'Namaste Trump' at the Motera Stadium. Speaking at the Namaste Trump event, the US President asserted that relations with India hold a special place for his country, saying that America "loves" and "respects' India. He said United will remain a 'loyal and faithful' to India. Donald Trump also announced that the US will seal defence deals worth USD 3 billion on Tuesday.
