Newly elected Trinamool Congress parliamentarians Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakraborty lost their cool outside the parliament on Tuesday after media persons heckled them asking for quotes and pictures. While the actors-turned-politicians initially posed for the pictures, the two got uncomfortable and restless when they were unable to move past the media personnel, reported news agency ANI.
At one point, Nusrat Jahan protectively put her arm around her friend Mimi Chakraborty and asked the media persons to back off. "Aap dhakka nahin maar sakte sir, samajhiye baat ko (You cannot push us sir, please try to understand)," Jahan said.

While the two initially cooperated with the media and answered all the questions they had, after a point Mimi asked the media people to move aside so that they could leave. However, when that did not happen, she became restless, ANI added.
The security persons had to intervene to help them move towards their vehicles. They later asked the media persons to stand in a line at a reasonable distance and click the pictures.
Nusrat, who recently tied the knot with Kolkata-based businessman Nikhil Jain, and her friend Mimi took oath as members of the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.
The two had skipped oath-taking for Lok Sabha members on June 17 and 18 owing to Nusrat's wedding festivities in Turkey.
As soon as the House met for the day, the two took oath in Bangla, ending it with phrases such as Vande Matram, Jai Hindi and Jai Bangla. After taking oath, the two went up to Speaker Om Birla to touch his feet.
It is customary for members to greet the Speaker on the podium.
While Jahan is member from Basirhat, Chakraborty represents Jadhavpur in the lower house.
