Duty bound to maintain the security and sanctity of our borders, says Army Chief Lt General Bipin Rawat

New Army Chief Lt General Bipin Rawat took guard of honour on Sunday.

“With all the humanity resumed as a chief of great Indian army which is finest in the world. I am full aware of the task assigned, said Army chief.

General Bipin Rawat said that he is duty bound to assist on border and maintain internal law and order. Irrespective of the place of posting, I will treat everyone equally.

General Rawat also mentioned that Indian Army seeks peace and tranquillity along the borders but it does not mean we are weak.

“It was a Govt decision, the superseded officers have worked with me and will continue to do so in interest of Army,” said General Bipin Rawat.
