The man who once coined the phrase 'Pehle Matdaan Phir Jalpaan' ('First vote, then have breakfast') - Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been removed from the voter list of Lucknow Municipal Corporation.Â
The former prime minister and current ruling party's senior most leader has been struck down from the voter list as he has not lived in his well know Lucknow residence at 92/98-1 located in Basmandi area under Babu Banarasai Das Ward.
Zonal officer of the LMC-Zone 1, Ashok Kumar Singh, told ANI, that the BJP leader has not been living in Lucknow residence since 2004. "As per rule if a person doesn't live at local address for over 6 months, name is removed," the Zonal Officer said.Â
His former home is now the office of the Kisan Sangh.
