As demonetisation enters 18th day on Saturday after  PM Narendra Modi announced ban on Rs 500 and Rs 1000 bank notes in the country, situation in the country remains grim when it comes to cash availability.

The move is said to be aimed at curbing black money, corruption, a major challenge for the government. But the parallel cons of it are mostly affecting the common man of India.

As demonetisation enters into third week, people are still reeling under no cash stress. There are long serpentine queues outside banks and ATMs everywhere.

When it comes to note dispensation, most of the ATMS are running dry. Reasons vary from frequent transactions to no refill cash vans.
