Unruly scenes were witnessed inside the Gujarat Assembly on Thursday after a scuffle broke out between the Opposition members and ruling party. The scuffle turned ugly and violent with the exchange of verbal abuses. Three persons were injured in the scuffle.
Two Congress MLAs, including Baldevji Thakor, and BJP MLA and junior minister Nirmala Vadhwani were injured when members rushed to the Well of the House and exchanged blows.
Speaker Ramanlal Vora adjourned the House for some time following the chaos.
It all began when Congress MLA Paresh Bhanani raised the issue of farmers suicide ion Amreli district. Soon, heated arguments began and ended up in a scuffle.
