Delhi court has directed police officials to lodge a FIR against Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas against a complaint filed by a woman volunteer. However, Kumar Vishwas has denied any wrong doings in the case.
The police had said in court that a preliminary inquiry did not throw up any evidence against the poet-turned-politician.
A week ago, Kumar Vishwas and 6 AAP members were summoned as accused in a criminal defamation complaint filed by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley by a court.
The court summoned these six accused for alleged offences under section 500 (defamation) of the IPC read with section 34 (common intention) the IPC and directed them to appear before it on April 7.
