Five of a family killed in LPG cylinder blast in Jaipur

Five people of a family including an elderly man were killed in a blast caused due to an LPG cylinder leak at a house in Jaipur’s Vidhyadhar Nagar.

The LPG blast had occurred in the early hours of Saturday, police said.

“Three members of the family were charred to death, while two died of suffocation,” said a fire official.

The victims of the LPF blast incident have been identified as Mahendra Garg, 75, Animesh Garg, 22, Arpita, 20, Apurva, 24, and Shaurya, 25.

Police said, “Shaurya and Animesh died due to suffocation, while the rest were charred to death.”
