Dense fog continues to cover areas in North India on Friday morning. Though, it was not as dense as it was in last two days but it was still enough to affect schedules of trains and flights.
12 trains leaving from Delhi were rescheduled. There are also reports of 70 trains running late due to prevailing fog conditions.
“Due to poor visibility in fog at Delhi, arrival and departure delays are expected at Delhi airport. Due to adverse weather in Lucknow & Amritsar, we're expecting delays in arrivals & departures,” said Jet Airways.
There are also reports that at least three persons were killed and over half a dozen injured in two separate road accidents which occurred on the Yamuna Expressway on Thursday night due to fog.
