AAP Senior Leader And MLA Shri Somnath Bharti Today Welcomed Former BJP Leader Arvind Kumar, Independent Candidates Sarita Garwa And Hari Narayan Garwa To The Aam Aadmi Party.

The entire country is heavily influenced by the Kejriwal Model of Development and the kind of progress that it has made in the state of Delhi. People are constantly joining the Aam Aadmi Party as a result of this phenomenal work being done by the Kejriwal Government in all sectors – including schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, and so on. In this order, AAP Senior Leader and MLA Shri Somnath Bharti today welcomed former BJP leader Arvind Kumar, independent candidates Sarita Garwa and Hari Narayan Garwa to the Aam Aadmi Party. Prakash Jarwal, AAP MLA from Deoli felicitated the newcomers with caps and patka. Adil Khan, the chairman of Azadpur Mandi from the Aam Aadmi Party, was also present.

Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Shri Somnath Bharti said, “In our country, there are two types of politics going on: religion and caste politics and politics which focuses on progress and actual work. People are tired of religion and politics, something the BJP and Congress have PhDs in. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party practises politics focused on progress and development, having done historical work in all areas such as schools, hospitals, electricity, water, roads, internet, and women's safety. People are joining the Aam Aadmi Party in large numbers, influenced by the Kejriwal Model of Development and the Aam Aadmi Party's work oriented politics, not only from Delhi but from all over the country. Today, BJP leader Arvind Kumar, independent candidates Sarita Garwa and Hari Narayan Garwa are joining the Aam Aadmi Party along with many other colleagues.

” He added, “Arvind Kumar is a former BJP Vidhan Sabha candidate from Deoli. He has dedicated 13 years of his life to the BJP. He was the Vice President of the BJP Yuva Morcha in District Dakshin. He previously served as the General Secretary of the BJP Mazdoor Federation. He has also been the Vice President of the Delhi Pradesh BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha. He ran for Deoli Vidhan Sabha as a BJP candidate in 2015 and 2020. Arvind ji has been organising camps for free cataract surgery for the past 11 years. Arvind ji has joined the party, as has his wife Anju Arvind Kumar, a BJP Mahila Morcha minister from Tigri ward 75. In addition, former BJP Yuva Morcha Minister Gulshan Kumar from District Southern, former Vice President of SC Morcha Yogesh, Mandal Vice President Vinod Gupta, former District General Secretary of SC Morcha Jagdish Lodhiwal, former Division President Omi Nayak, former Vice President of SC Morcha Birju Ved, former treasurer of Deoli Vidhan Sabha Pawan Bansal, and former municipal candidate Ashok Tyagi are among those joining the Aam Aadmi Party today” He added, “Sarita Garwa is our second newcomer to the Aam Aadmi Party. Sarita ji served as a Tigri ward councillor from 2012 to 2017. She has also served as Vice-Chairman of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation. Hari Narayan Garwa, along with her husband, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party. I cordially invite all of my colleagues to the party.”

AAP MLA from Deoli Assembly Shri Prakash Jarwal said, “When the Delhi elections were held in 2013, Arvind Kumar contested from the BJP. With around 35000 votes, he came in second place. He was also a BJP candidate in the 2020 elections, where he received approximately 58000 votes. Today, he has joined the Aam Aadmi Party after being influenced by the AAP family’s honest politics under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal. In addition, independent candidate Sarita Garwa and her husband Hari Narayan Garwa have joined the party.”
