From flight fares to LPG cylinder and RTGS, NEFT charges to overseas tour costs, there are plenty of things that have changed from today. Here is the overview of five important changes you should know about.
LPG cylinder price:Â The price of non-subsidised LPG was cut by over Rs 100 per cylinder on the back of softening international rates, Indian Oil Corp (IOC) said. The cooking gas in Delhi will be priced at Rs 637 per cylinder from July 1 as against Rs 737.50 currently, IOC said in a statement. Subsidised cooking gas price will be Rs 494.35 per cylinder.
RTGS and NEFT charges: Fund transfer through RTGS and NEFT systems has become cheaper from today after the Reserve Bank of India decided it will not impose any charges on such transactions. After announcing its decision to waive all charges on fund transfer through RTGS and NEFT systems from July 1, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had also asked banks to pass on the benefits to customers from the same day.

Air travel: Air travel has become a bit costlier as the Ministry of Civil Aviation has increased the aviation security fee (ASF) from Rs 130 to Rs 150 for each Indian passenger from July 1 onwards. After announcing its decision to waive all charges on fund transfer through RTGS and NEFT systems from July 1, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had also asked banks to pass on the benefits to customers from the same day.
SBI home loan: The State Bank of India (SBI) will start offering repo rate-linked home loans from today. The country’s leading public sector bank has also reduced the interest rate on cash credit account and over draft customers with limits of over Rs 1 lakh.
Car prices: Automobile makers Honda and Mahindra & Mahindra's decision to increase the prices of their cars will come into effect from July 1. While Honda have increased the prices of their cars upto 1.2 per cent, the prices of Mahindra & Mahindra cars will be increased up to Rs 36,000. The prices have reportedly been increased due to the implementation of AIS 145 safety norms across all passenger vehicles in India.
