New Delhi:

In protest against the unprecedented hike in fuel prices for the straight 15th day, a Congress leader along with some locals on Monday took out a 'Shav Yatra' - funeral procession of a motorcycle on a hand-pulled cart in Jaipur.

The cart with the motorcycle decorated with flowers was pulled by Congress leader Suresh Mishra and other party workers.

"Fuel prices have put extra burden on people and have disturbed their budget. But the government is taking no measures to control the prices," Mishra told reporters.

The Congress men took out the symbolic march in Bhankrota area. There is outcry among the public and the government should take immediate steps to ease the tension, Mishra added.
