 After fist-bumps and bear hugs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hit headlines at the ongoing G20 Summit for a candid selfie with his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison. The ‘Osaka selfie’ tweeted by Morrison won hearts for a sweet caption in Hindi. “Kithana acha he Modi!,” the Australian Prime Minister said on micro-blogging site. Twitter is loving the sweet selfie. As of now, the selfie has garnered 4.8K retweets and 19K likes. Known for his prolific social media skills, PM Modi replied in his unique way. “Mate, I’m stoked about the energy of our bilateral relationship!,” Modi said in an epic reply to Morrison on Twitter. The newly-elected Australian Prime Minister met his Indian counterpart in the morning and shared some light moments with him. Last month, the two leaders congratulated each other on their respective election victories and pledged to work together.

 

The G20 (Group of Twenty) is an international leaders' forum comprising 19 countries and the European Union. The 14th edition of the G20 Summit is being held in Japan’s Osaka from June 28-29.  

Earlier on Friday, PM Modi presented his "5-I" vision to maximise digital technology for social benefit in his intervention at the G20 Summit on digital economy and artificial intelligence (AI). Modi also discussed leveraging the power of technology with US President Donald Trump. "Shaping the agenda. PM @narendramodi presented his vision of maximising digital technology for society benefit in his intervention at G20 on Digital Economy & AI. The 5 'I's are -- Inclusiveness, Indigenisation, Innovation, Investment in infrastructure & International cooperation," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted.

This is Modi's sixth G20 Summit. On Thursday also, the Prime Minister underlined his government's focus to develop digital infrastructure while addressing a huge gathering of Indian diaspora in Kobe. "In the next five years, our target is to make India a five-trillion dollar economy. Social sector remains our top priority. Also we will focus more on infrastructure development, especially digital infrastructure," he said.
