Wrestling star and Commonwealth gold-medallist Geeta Phogat has condemned terrorism and called for strong action against perpetrators of such attacks.  Her tweets have come in the wake of the recent attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims where 7 were killed and 32 others injured. In her tweet, she said terrorists should be burnt alive for their despicable acts.

Terrorists attacked a bus carrying pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra around 8:20 PM on Monday night. It was going from Srinagar to Jammu when the attack took place.

A high-level meeting took place on Tuesday at home minister Rajnath Singh’s residence to review the security measures in Jammu and Kashmir post-Amarnath terror attack.

The Intelligence Bureau director, NSA chief Ajit Doval, RAW chief, home secretary-designate Rajiv Gauba and senior MHA officials were present in the meeting. The attack is considered to be the worst on the annual pilgrimage since the year 2000.
