Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday visited families of BRD hospital tragedy victims in Belwar village of Gorakhpur.
Akhilesh Yadav attacked UP government for hiding the reason behind the tragic incident and not doing enough.
He said the government is hiding everything, it should at least tell what the reason behind deaths was? If there was a disruption in the supply of oxygen then who was responsible for that, he asked.
He said the families of victims have told him that their children were not provided with enough treatment and because of that died.

Yadav also criticized Siddhartha Nath Singh for his “August” statements saying he looks a well-educated man. If this had happened during Samajwadi government, they would have made it a big issue.
Akhilesh has also demanded Rs. 20 lakh compensation for the families of deceased children.
