The Ministry of Women and Child Development has invited suggestions to make schools safer for children.

“The government is making an all-out effort to underpin Child Safety in Schools. Send us Your Suggestions with hashtag #MissionSchoolSafety (sic),” tweeted MWCD on Wednesday.

The ministry is under pressure to create a stringent system to check schools and other educational institutions for safety measures after seven-year-old Pradhyuman was brutally murdered by allegedly a bus conductor in school washroom on September 8.

The hashtag has received several responses. The chief concern shown by parents and caregivers is background check of school staffs and increased presence of security cameras.
