The alliance being stitched up by the opposition parties and other groups in Gujarat cannot defeat the BJP in the assembly polls scheduled to be held next month, Haryana minister Anil Vij said on Monday.
The saffron party will form government in the state again as the ‘Modi wave’ still continues in the country, the minister said.
Vij took it to his Twitter handle and tweeted “Even if 100 dogs join hands, they cannot challenge a lion. BJP will win the Gujarat polls.”
The ruling BJP cannot be defeated by the opposition parties and other groups which are trying to join hands, he said.
“The BJP will once again be victorious in the Gujarat polls,” he added.
Earlier, the health minister lashed out at Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala for comparing Modi to the whimsical 14th-Century monarch Muhammad Bin Tughlak.
Talking to media persons in Ambala on Monday, he said Surjewala was a “liar”.
He accused Congress leaders of always leveling false allegations to divert the attention of people.
Modi has become the symbol of progress and now the India is being recognised throughout the world because of the prime minister, Vij said.
