After the meet, Rupani announced that around 1,500 out of total 3,000 petrol pumps across the state will be equipped with Point of Sale (PoS) machine within 3 days.
Using these machine, people can make payments as well as avail cash from petrol pumps. Remaining 1,500 petrol pumps will be given these machines within 10 days time, it added.
Similarly, milk producing cooperative societies across the state will be given 17,000 PoS machines for making transactions.
With the help of banks, these cooperative societies will also be equipped with Micro ATMs, which will be connected with Wi-Fi network, said the release.
