Gunshots were heard in Chancher village of South Kashmir's Kulgam district after security forces cornered suspected militants hiding in a house on Friday.

Sources said there was inputs about two militants believed to be hiding in the house. 

The army, police and the CRPF have cordoned off the area.

Sources said that the securitey forces are trying to flush out the militants hiding in the building.
