Haryana Police start a manhunt at Nepal border to nab Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's close aide and adopted daughter Honeypreet Insaan.

The manhunt is being focussed at Kheri, after police received inputs regarding Honeypreet trying to evade arrest by escaping to Nepal.

Ghanshyam Chaurasiya, additional superintendent of police, confirmed media about Harayan Police officials presence in Kheri at Gaurifanta.

Chaurasiya told the media that the Haryana Police had shared some vital information with Gaurifanta Police regarding her suspected movement in the area and her plans to escape to Nepal via the porous India-Nepal border.

He added that they have seized a vehicle bearing Punjab’s registration number and an investigation in being done to ascertain the ownership of the vehicle.

Honeypreet is adopted daughter of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is convicted and serving 20 years jail term for raping two of his female followers.
