Kumaraswamy, who took oath as the Karnataka CM last month in Bengaluru, met representatives of several farmers' organisations in the state and discussed the major challenges faced by them.
"This government is not in the sleeping mode. We are at the work of Karnataka citizens," Kumaraswamy said after meeting with farmers' leaders.
Earlier, the chief minister has promised to farm community on waiver loans within 15 days of coming to power. Waiving farmers' loan was one of the main focus of the JDS's campaign ahead of the Karnataka Assembly Elections on May 12.
