Heavy shelling and ceasefire violations continued from the Pakistani side as India too gave a ‘befitting response’. Nowshera, Sunderbani and Pallanwala sectors have come under heavy fire since the wee hours of October 28.
Pakistan rangers began unprovoked firing in Kathua, Hiranagar and Samba on the evening of October 27 which continued till the morning hours of October 28.

Unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pak Army in Sunderbani Sector and Pallanwala Sector near LoC, being responded to befittingly by our side.

Other sectors which were targeted by Pak forces included Arnia, RS Pura, Akhnoor, Tangdhar and Poonch. Indian armed forces too retaliated strongly and some Pak posts and villages received heavy damages. A minor girl was however injured on the Indian side.
Nearly 40 ceasefire violations have taken place from the Pakistani end since Indian army carried out surgical strikes inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir targeting terrorists.
Pakistan has surpassed the heights of brutality along the Line of Control as they target Indian posts and border villages. However, Indian armed forces have consistently sacrificed their lives to safeguard the nation from evil intentions of enemy forces.
