A 25-year old Snapdeal executive Dipti Sarna, who went missing from Ghaziabad, was recovered on Friday in Panipat (Haryana).
Her recovery was made by UP Police after she spoke to her parents and told that she would join them soon.
"We are eagerly awaiting for her return," SH Dharmendra, SSP, Ghaziabad posted on UP CM's twitter.
After her return, senior cop Dharmendra Singh told media, "Dipti Sarna says she was kidnapped by 4 people once she got into an auto after work. She was blindfolded and taken to a remote place."
On Thursday night, the woman allegedly went missing after taking an autorickshaw from the metro station in Vaishali area in Ghaziabad.
After complaints by family, the police immediately launched a search operation in the jungles of Morti near Raj Nagar extension, where her last location was traced to.
Ms Dipti works with Snapdeal in Gurgaon.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, has instructed the Ghaziabad SSP to personally head the search operation.
“UPCM @yadavakhilesh has instructed SSP GZB to personally head the search operation of #HelpFindDipti. Several teams formed,” said a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
