Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished the nation on the occasion of Holi, an annual festival of colours celebrated to mark the end of harvest season. 

“Greetings on the festival of colours, Holi. May the festival spread joy & warmth everywhere,” PM Modi tweeted. 

On Saturday, PM Modi launched yet another massive campaign to coincide with a festival – IAmNewIndia. The campaign seeks to rope in citizens to create a better India by 2022. 

The new campaign #IAmNewIndia is already trending on social media site Twitter. The campaign invites people from all walks of life to take pledge over a set of conditions.

The campaign provides people an opportunity to pledge on corruption-free India, cashless transactions, swachh Bharat, drugs-free India, women-led development, protection of nature and natural resources etc. People can take pledge on Narendra Modi Mobile App.

“A new India is emerging, which is being powered by the strength & skills of 125 crore Indians. This India stands for development,” Modi tweeted.
