Honeypreet Insan, the "adopted daughter" of the jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh wants to surrender before the Panchkula court on Tuesday but only after 'certain conditions' are met, several media reports cited on Tuesday.

Having failed to arrest top Dera associates including Honeypreet Insan, the Haryana Police has now formed a new team to nab them.  Meanwhile, the close Gurmeet Ram Rahim aide may move anticipatory bail plea on Tuesday, which if rejected, may result in her surrendering before the cops.

The development comes after the state police was accused of helping Honeypreet Insan and other Dera aides, who have been on the run for more than a month, even after lookout notices and on-bailable arrest warrants were issued against them by a Panchkula Court. Haryana Police is also hesitating to share the information about raids after making failed attempts at about two dozen places.

It is notable that Honeypreet gave Haryana Police the slip more than six times in the recent past. Police officials now believe that they will either arrest Honeypreet or she will surrender before the court herself.

Haryana Police has already installed barricades across the state in a bid to arrest Honeypreet. The police is also searching vehicles to ensure that Honeypreet does not escape in disguise. Ever since the Honeypreet exclusive interview on India Today and Aak Tak was telecast, the Haryana Police has swung into action.
