Chaos and violence often give way for heartwarming humans and their genuine efforts to establish peace. 

In violence-wrenched Sirsa in Haryana, locals are preparing food for the Army stationed to quell unrest erupted after local godman Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted in a rape case by a CBI court on Friday.

 The judgment created a massive uproar among his followers, who had poured outside court in Panchkula and Dera headquarters in Sirsa. The resulting violence ended with the death on at least 31 and injuries to at least 250 others.

Soon, the authorities swung into action and curfew was clamped in several parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. 

On Saturday, army took over the security situation in Dera HQ and took out flag marches. Army is also trying to persuade Dera followers to leave the premises and go home. (Read full story here)

But while the chaos ensues, some of the Sirsa residents are busy in ensuring the army jawans do not have to go hungry.
