Expressing concern over unrest in Turkey, India today implored all sides to support democracy and mandate of the ballot and avoid bloodshed. The Euro-Asian nation is witnessing violence after an attempted military coup in which at least 60 people have died on Friday night.
External Affairs Ministry said India has been closely following the developments in Turkey and advised Indian nationals to stay indoors until the situation becomes clearer.
