Pakistan is desperate to infiltrate maximum terrorists into the Kashmir Valley to disrupt peace in the region, the Indian Army’s top commander said on Wednesday. Giving out details about Pakistan’s anti-India plot, Lt General KJS Dhillon said that, “On August 21, we apprehended two Pakistani nationals who are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.” Releasing the video of the arrested terrorists, Lt Gen Dhillon said that, "All launchpads are full with terrorists ready to launch into Kashmir to disrupt peace." The video was the proof by the Indian Army against frustrated Pakistan’s continuous attempts to change status quo across the Line of Control.
After India’s move to strip Jammu and Kashmir of its special status by abrogating provisions of Article 370, exasperated Pakistan is planning a major terror attack in the country. The evil designs of Pakistan were exposed after security forces nabbed two Lashkar terrorists, according to sources.

The terrorists, who were identified as Khalil Ahmed and Nazim Khokhar from Pakistan, told the security agencies that they were part of a seven-member group sent to Kashmir. While four of the seven terrorists were Pakistani, three of them hailed from Afghanistan.
During interrogation, Ahmed and Khokhar revealed that the task to carry out major terror strike in India was given to them by two senior officials of Pakistani Army. The Pakistan Army even helped them to cross over and provided security cover.
Before infiltrating into the Indian side of the border, all the seven terrorists were trained at a Lashkar-e-Taiba camp in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. According to the security forces, 36-year-old Khalil Ahmed is a resident of Rawalpindi in Pakistan while another terrorist Nazim Khokhar, 25, is from Quetta.
Meanwhile, as many as 139 terrorists have been killed by the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir in the first eight months of this year, defence sources said on Saturday. However, during these operations, the 26 security forces personnel, belonging to various ranks, have also been martyred.
The report states that maximum number of terrorist-initiated incidents (22) in Jammu and Kashmir were reported in the month of May and security forces managed to neutralise as many as 27 terrorists in this period- the highest number for any calendar month in the year 2019.
The total number of terrorist-initiated incidents across Jammu and Kashmir from January to August have been recorded at 87. In the last week of July, Indian Army used Bofors howitzers to foil an attack by Pakistan Army's BAT on forward post in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir. More than four BAT commandoes had been gunned down by while they were attempting to infiltrate the LoC.
