An Indian Coast Guard helicopter crashed near Nandgaon in Maharashtra's Raigad district on Saturday.
Reportedly, the helicopter had four crew members on board at the time of incident. One ICG lady pilot has sustained injuries, while others three members were evacuated safely.
An Indian Navy Seaking helicopter with a medical team on-board was soon rushed to the crash site and all the four members were flown back to the Naval Hospital INHS Asvini at Mumbai. The injured officer has been given the medical treatment.
As per the media reports, the chopper crashed during landing. It is reported that the aircraft had developed a technical glitch mid-air, due to which it had a hard-landing when it touched the ground.
