The COVID-19 tally in India has crosed the crucial mark of 29 lakhs. India registered a single day spike of 68,898 fresh COVID19 cases, said the data of Union Health Ministry.

The last 24 hrs have been very crucual to India as it registered total 68,898 new COVID infection and 983 deaths. In a raw, it has been third consceutive day that India reported more than 64000 cases of COVID 19. However, India has also advanced in COVBID recovery rate. The last 24 hrs have seen total 62,282 COVID recoveries.

The total COVID 19 recoveries in India stands at 21,58,946 taking the recovery rate to over 74 per cent. The total number of active cases is 692,028 across the nation and the death toll stands at 54,899, as per the health ministry.
