A day after DGCA grounded 14 of 45 AirBus 320 Neo aircraft for faulty engines, low-cost airline IndiGo on Wednesday had to land back one of its plane routed to Raipur from Hyderabad after a engine glitch.
According to sources, IndiGo’s Hyderabad- Raipur flight soon after its takeoff experienced a technical glitch on its exhaust gas temperature (EGT) system.
“The flight was landed back at Hyderabad on emergency basis soon after a technical glitch on engine was reported,” said an official of Hyderabad airport.
He added that that the issue is being investigated by country’s aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and safety team of IndiGo.

The DGCA on Tuesday had grounded 14 of 45 Airbus 320 Neo aircraft are grounded due to safety issues.
