The controversial incident of Indigo Airlines staff manhandling a passenger took a hilarious turn when a person named Rohit Choubey tweeted to the airlines asking travel time of Mumbai-Delhi flight but when airlines responded to help him, his witty reply got them stumped. Rohit tweeted that his boss is travelling on an Indigo flight at 3 pm to Delhi, if he is found by the airline staff then he is to be beaten-up.
Rohit wrote on Twitter to Indigo Airlines that "I need help for tomorrow’s Mumbai Delhi flight…Can somebody please respond".
The airline responded “Hi, Rohit. How may we assist you?†to this he replied, he wanted them to beat up his boss who was travelling to Delhi by the 3 pm flight.
This tweet of Rohit was a satire on a disrespectful treatment met to a passenger named Mr. Katyal who was travelling on an Indigo flight about fifteen days ago and was manhandled by the Airline staff.Â
The incident was probed by the designated committee which took action against staff who was main culprit, by immediately terminating his employment.
