Indrani Mukerjea – accused of killing her daughter Sheena Bora, was on Friday shifted to the state-run JJ Hospital in Mumbai from the Byculla jail after complaining of low blood pressure. Fourty-five-year-old Indrani complained of a headache and hypotension (low blood pressure), following which, she was shifted to the hospital.
“After initial treatment, she was admitted to the hospital’s cardiac care unit in view of hypotension with nuerovascular problem,” PTI quoted Medical Superintendent Dr Sanjay Surase said.

This was Indrani’s second hospital visit in last five days. On Monday, she was admitted to the hospital after complaining of restlessness, headache and double vision.
In April, she was also hospitalised for the treatment of suspected drug overdose. The former media executive is accused of killing her 24-year-old daughter Sheena in April 2012.
According to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the financial dispute was one of the reasons behind the killing.

The murder came to light in 2015 when police arrested Indrani’s former driver for possession of a firearm. During the interrogation, the driver revealed about the murder of Sheena.
