New Delhi:
Reacting to the suggestion made by Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir to Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to cross the border and go to Pakistan, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday said that it is easy to say such things to people like Mirwaiz.
Sanjay questioned that he would have been happy when any player would have refused to play against Pakistan.
Sanjay Raut added that any player who would have refused to play against Pakistan would have been hailed all across the country.
“A suggestion Mirwaiz Farooq why don't you cross the border? You will get better fireworks (Chinese?), Eid celebs there. I can help you with packing,” wrote Gautam Gambhir on Twitter.
Farooq had earlier tweeted, "Fireworks all around, feels like an early Eid here. Better team took the day. Congratulations team Pakistan."
Mirwaiz has been constantly cheering for Pakistan. He had also celebrated Pakistan’s win over England in the first semi-final match of the ICC Champions Trophy.
