YSR Congress leader Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday made a controversial statement during a bypoll campaign where he said: “there would be no problem if Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is shot in the middle of the road.”
While addressing a poll campaign in Nandyal of Kurnool district, Reddy alleged Naidu for poaching his MLAs who won the polls on the ticket of his party and later switched their loyalties to Naidu.
A local TDP leader has filed a case against Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Varla Ramaiah, TDP leader, condemned his statement and said Jaganmohan Reddy has gone frustrated.
Another TDP leader CM Ramesh said Reddy is a “criminal”. He said TDP is for development but Reddy’s thinking is “how to kill people and grab money.”
