AIADMK leader VK Sasikala who was in jail on charges of possessing disproportionate assets has finally got 5 days parole to visit her ailing husband Natarajan on Friday.

After being denied parole on grounds of insufficient documentation, Sasikala on Thursday filled a fresh emergency parole form and attached more documents including a medical certificate of her ailing husband Natarajan.

Sasikala's husband Natarajan is a chronic liver disease patient recently underwent dual organ transplant at Gleneagles Global Health City in Chennai.

Earlier in the day, TTV Dhinakaran along with other leaders of his faction reached Bengaluru Jail where Sasikala was lodged. 

Sasikala's Lawyer said, the Chennai police commissioner agreeing for parole to Sasikala with certain conditions had sent an e-mail to Bengaluru jail authorities.

Bengaluru jail authorities then discussed with higher officials about conditions imposed by Chennai police and agreed to grant her a 5-day parole.

Sasikala along with her two other relatives is serving a 4-year jail in Bengaluru prison after the Supreme Court upheld a special court order in the disproportionate assets case.
