The 'Kiki challenge' also known as ‘In My Feelings’ challenge or ‘Do the Shiggy’ is a new trend making rounds on social media for the last few days. Canadian rapper Drake’s latest hit, ‘In My Feelings’, has got people, including celebrities, all over the world hooked to its beat and tune.

However, the viral ‘Kiki challenge’ has turned into a deadly trend with people putting their precious lives in danger just for the 15 minutes of fame on social media. The deadly viral challenge, which is quickly gaining popularity among many Indian millennials as well, has prompted law enforcement authorities to issue warnings to the people falling in this trap.

Concerned for the safety of people, police departments of Delhi, Mumbai, Uttar Pradesh and Jaipur came up with a warning message to alert netizens and their parents about the fatal consequences of this challenge.

In a thoughtful message, Jaipur police on Monday shared a post on its Facebook account, urging people not to take up the ‘Kiki challenge’, as it was not wise to “challenge the death”.

“Don’t challenge death. Be wise – keep away from silly stunts & advise your friends as well to stay safe. In loving memory of KK — Loving boyfriend of Kiki, died while doing the Shiggy,” the police said in the post that also carried a garlanded photograph of a man, suggesting death.
