Four terrorists were killed in an encounter on Wednesday with security forces at Rafiabad in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. The gunfight between the army and the militants in the forest area of Rafiabad is underway, according to sources.
A soldier was also injured in the Wednesday gunbattle, according to the sources.
Following inputs about the presence of militants in the Ladoora forests in Rafiabad area, security forces launched a search operation on Monday.
The search operation turned into a gunbattle on Wednesday morning with both security forces and the militants exchanging fire.
On August 3, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. In the counter terrorist operation, one soldier and two terrorists were killed.
